Designed and run by fully accredited trainer and ARCH owner Shikira Nicholls. The duration of this course is 2 days. Whether you are new to the industry or looking to advance your skills this course is for everyone. COURSE CURRICULUM: * Lip shaping and mapping * Colour theory * Skin penetration health and safety standards. * Tattoo gun guideline * Cartridge identifiers and there uses * Product knowledge. * Waivers * Skin disorders and complications * Pigment theory and application * Practicing on both synthetic skins and live models. * Live skills demonstration. * Consultations * Tips and tricks * Aftercare and post treatment advice. * Social media marketing. * Business insurance * Record keeping * Posture * Price guide * Hygiene and legal standards * Live mechanical tattoo demonstration * Pigment retention * Hand movements and speeds First day: 10:00 to 1:00 - Dive into theory and presentations where you can gather an understanding of the basics behind cosmetic tattooing and business management 1:00-2:00 - Lunch break 2:00 - 3:30 - Put theory into practice and start practical training on synthetic skins. Second Day: 10:00 - 12:30 - Shikira will conduct her start to finish processes on a live model for you to watch in real time. 12:30 - 1:30 lunch break 1:30 - 4:30 Your first procedure on a live model! You will be conducting your own clients through consultations, numbing processes and full tattooing procedures under Shikira’s supervision and guidance. You will be presented with a take home booklet that underlines all theory materials learnt in class plus take home a full tattooing kit which is inclusive of everything you need to get you started in your new career. From this stage you are able to continue your growth within the industry in the comfort of your own space. You will then be able to obtain your own clients, undertaking through the same procedures learnt in class. Present before and afters of your next 4 clients to review and get back shikira’s professional feedback. Once all models are completed and 4 passes are obtained you will receive your Certificate and begin your career in cosmetic tattooing! Shikra will supply ongoing support to all her students whenever required so you are not alone!
